Founder & Principal

Kat Livaniou, MBA

Kat Livaniou is the Founder of Athena Consulting, a strategic advisory firm focused on advanced domestic and international tax strategy, regulatory advisory, and executive financial leadership for U.S. businesses operating at scale.

With a Big Four background and experience spanning PCAOB regulated public companies, IPO readiness engagements, and founder led middle market enterprises, she brings institutional rigor to complex tax, reporting, and capital environments.

Her 23 Years of expertise includes U.S. federal and multi state tax strategy, ASC 740 tax provisions, transaction support, cross border structuring, expat taxation, and inbound and outbound domestic tax planning across the United States, the European Union, and offshore jurisdictions.

Kat advises domestic growth stage and regulated businesses, as well as multinational groups, aligning tax intelligence with financial architecture to ensure compliance, defensibility, and strategic capital positioning.
